Can I replace a mixer tap myself?

Under WA’s plumbing rule changes, effective March 2024, homeowners can maintain or repair an existing tap themselves. Installing a new tap, replacing an in-wall mixer, or doing any work connected to the mains supply still legally requires a licensed plumber.
