Not always. If your new tap is replacing an existing tap in the same position, the plumber can usually use the current water connections without accessing pipes inside the wall.
Pipe access may be required if the tap is being moved, installed in a new location, converted from separate taps to a mixer, or if the existing plumbing needs to be modified or repaired. Our plumber will inspect the setup first and explain whether any additional access is needed.
